These terms govern the use of BioPaternal. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them without reservation.

Purpose and acceptance

BioPaternal is an online tool that assists with paternity exclusion based on blood group compatibility (ABO, Rhesus, Kell) according to Mendel's laws. Creating an account and using the service constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

Description of the service

The service analyses the blood groups entered for the mother, the child and the alleged father, and indicates whether paternity can be excluded or not. The analysis is computed locally in your browser; a summary PDF report can be generated.

Informational nature of the result

The result is provided for strictly informational and educational purposes. It can exclude paternity with strong biological certainty, but can NEVER prove it. It has no legal, medical or evidentiary value. Only a DNA test performed by an accredited laboratory establishes filiation. Reliability depends on the accuracy of the groups entered and may, in rare cases, be affected by genetic anomalies or laboratory errors.

Account and access

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials confidential. The service is intended for personal and lawful use. Any fraudulent or misused access may result in suspension of the account.

Payment

Access to the full report is subject to a one-time payment (2,000 FCFA), processed by the provider FedaPay (Mobile Money and bank cards). Given the digital and immediate nature of the service, the payment is non-refundable once the report has been unlocked.

Intellectual property

The BioPaternal brand, logo, interface and analysis algorithm are protected. Any unauthorised reproduction or exploitation is prohibited.

Liability

BioPaternal cannot be held liable for decisions made solely on the basis of the result, nor for the consequences of an erroneous input. The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Personal data

No blood group is kept: the processing of data is detailed in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated at any time; the version in force is the one published on this page. Any dispute relating to the service is subject to the law applicable at the place where the service is operated.
